Heidi and Brandon are getting married!!! I am so happy for these two and absolutely loved meeting them for their engagement session at Sapphire Point Overlook in Breckenridge, Colorado! We had originally planned on having their session be the week before, but the winter weather and low visibility had us postpone their photos! BUT we were so happy that we waited a week because we had the perfect evening for their engagement session! There was a ceremony taking place when we arrived, so we hiked the trail to another spot before heading back to the overlook! These two were so sweet to work with and I had such a great time capturing their love for each other! They also brought their gorgeous puppy, who was so good for their photos and loved eating all of the snow that surrounded us! We couldn’t have had a more perfect day for their Sapphire Point Overlook Engagement with the beautiful Rocky Mountains and Dillon Reservoir as our backdrop!
Sapphire Point Overlook Notes:
Trail: 0.6 mile loop trail with 36 ft of elevation gain.
Ceremony Space: While we were there, there was a precious wedding ceremony taking place! You can reserve this space for elopements for 3 hours and up to 30 guests for a fee of $120. Though this is a public space, please be respectful to those having their special day here! Link to book:

Parking: When there are ceremonies, this also sometimes means that parking is very limited! There is a small parking lot at the trailhead that fills quickly, so it might be a good idea to carpool or there is additional parking on the side of the road as you are making your way up to Sapphire Point!
Closures: Sapphire Point Overlook will be closed June 2-20, 2025 for renovations, and September-November 2025 for construction!
