Delanie & Jason’s September wedding at their family barn was such a special day from beginning to end! Their wedding day started out with them getting ready — Delanie at the church and Jason down the road at his family barn and home! The emotions were already starting as Delanie admired her dress and her mom helped her into it! She had the sweetest first looks with her brothers and grandpa, before sharing a first look and private vows with Jason on the lawn of the church!

Soon, it was time for their ceremony, where all of their family and friends gathered inside the church to witness their unity! Delanie’s mom walked her down the aisle to Jason where they braided unity cords, listened to readings made by their mothers, and sealed their marriage with a kiss in the aisle! Then, everyone made their way outdoors for a bubble exit!

After family photos, the wedding party took a party bus down the road for photos on the same land where we took Delanie and Jason’s engagement photos! It was the perfect place for their group and I absolutely enjoyed the energetic company of all their favorite people! Heading back down the road, we arrived at Jason’s family property, where Ahrens Barn was all decked out for their reception!

The reception space was absolutely stunning, with such gorgeous details, guest favors, and pieces in remembrance of their loved ones. After some hilarious entrances and cutting the cake, it was time for speeches! During her speech, Delanie’s matron of honor played the sweetest recording from Delanie’s grandmother who couldn’t be there and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room! We then snuck away for some newlywed photos and we had the most perfect golden hour after it had been cold & windy all day!

Heading back into the family barn, Jason had a first dance with his mom and Delanie had a special dance with her brothers, before they shared their first dance as husband and wife as the band played! Delanie then surprised her mom with her bouquet and had a special dance for all of the mothers & daughters in attendance! Everyone rocked out with the band as the sun went down, before ending the night with a sparkler exit and releasing a lantern into the sky for Jason’s brother!

It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for Delanie and Jason, soaking up all the love from their family & friends and celebrating the start of this next chapter of their lives! Congratulations Mr & Mrs Ahrens and thank you so much again for having us be a part of your wedding day! ♡
