Friday afternoon, I flew into Grand Rapids with my mom, where we met up with Samira to explore the city before documenting Alexis and Chris’s wedding the next day! Their venue, New Vintage Place, was blanketed in snow and in the process of being decorated when we arrived!

We started with photographing the details, like Alexis’s stunning dress and her iconic red bottom shoes! The girls and guys got ready in their separate suites before Alexis had her first look with her dad! They handed out the sweetest gifts to their moms and Chris had the most beautiful red roses to give to his bride! We had just finished the separate wedding party photos when their guests were beginning to arrive for the ceremony!

In a room full of all of their favorite people who all had tears in their eyes, Alexis and her dad made their way down the aisle to Chris! It was so special to witness him seeing her for the first time and the way that he looks at her is so beautiful! Their officiant gave them gifts and made their ceremony so memorable! They sealed their vows to each other with unity locks and their marriage with the perfect dip kiss in the aisle!

Their wedding party was so pumped for these two all day and brought the excitement upstairs as they signed the marriage license! While the reception space was coming together, we did formal photos upstairs and then headed outside in the snow for newlywed portraits! Their guests enjoyed cocktail hour and used the phone booth guest book before it was time to enter the reception!

Their wedding party performed their entrances flawlessly and all huddled on the dance floor to welcome in the newlyweds! We heard so many hilarious & heartfelt speeches from a bunch of their favorite people, Alexis gifted her bouquet to her mom, they cut their cake, and then shared their first dances! We snuck away to the patio for more photos of Alexis & Chris and then captured them dancing the night away with all of their loved ones! They enjoyed Chick-Fil-A as a late night snack, which was such a great end to the most amazing day!
